Are you watchmakers? While we have a passion for mechanical watches, we are not watchmakers. However, we were lucky enough to team up with someone who is. We work with a number of specialist companies such as case, dial and handmakers. The watches then come together for assembly by a team of watch makers in Switzerland where they are regulated and released with the final quality control

Why don't you provide a box?If you've ever bought a watch you will have noticed it comes in a box. Usually, the more expensive the watch, the bigger the box! We looked at a lot of boxes. Really a lot. In the end we realised that most people don't do anything with the box. It just sits somewhere taking up space. One day I noticed that my wife sometimes takes her watch off and puts it in her bag. We decided therefore, instead of a box, we would provide a custom made leather pouch that you can keep using afterwards. Obvioulsy, we ship it in a box. Its just not a huge leatherlined one.

The price...Price is a tricky subject. We don't have 100s of employees that we have to support, shops on expensive shopping streets and we don't have a huge stand at a watch show. But since this was a one off production for ourselves we didn't cut any corners in making this watch. The movement is an ETA mechanical movement (ETA 7001) with Côtes de Genève finish and not a cheap alternative. This is the same watch movement you will find in other brands costing much more. The case has a saphire glass front and also a display case back, also with sapphire glass. The dial has a nickel finish, engravings on the sub second dial as well as raised hour markers and isn't just a printed dial. The strap and travel case are handmade, limited production shell cordovan leather from an atelier in Germany All in, you get quite a bit. Are we crazy? Maybe. We wanted to create a watch that we wanted to wear, so we didn't want to cut corners. We hope you will also enjoy it.
